Types of Water Damage We Handle

Water damage takes many forms in North Texas homes, and the source matters as much as the visible damage. We manage restoration for:

  • Sewer backups and drain line failures
  • Burst pipes and supply line failures, especially in unheated spaces and older plumbing systems
  • Slab leaks caused by foundation movement, corroded pipes, or aging fittings
  • Appliance failures, including dishwasher, washing machine, water heater, and refrigerator supply line leaks
  • Foundation seepage and groundwater intrusion

If your water damage was caused by a roof failure during a storm, that falls under our storm damage restoration services.

What Happens When You Call

Water damage runs on a clock. Every hour it sits, more materials come out during rebuild, more mold potential, more scope. Here is what happens once you reach us:

  1. You call 469-931-9867. A T Rock project manager takes the initial details.
  2. On-site within 24 hours. In most cases sooner. We assess the source, the extent, and the immediate risks.
  3. Emergency stabilization. We stop the water source, contain the damage, and begin drying to prevent secondary problems.
  4. Documentation and scope. We photograph everything, write a complete scope of work in the same format your insurance adjuster uses, and meet with the adjuster on site.
  5. Full restoration. Mitigation, tear-out, drying, and complete rebuild, managed by one project manager from start to finish.

We Work Directly with Your Insurance Adjuster

Most water damage claims go poorly because the homeowner is left to translate between the contractor and the insurance adjuster. That is not how we operate. Our project manager meets your adjuster on site, walks the damage together, and writes our own detailed scope in the Xactimate format adjusters use. If the adjuster’s initial estimate misses damage or code-required upgrades, we document and submit the supplement.

What we do: document what we see, provide a detailed scope of work, and communicate clearly with your adjuster.

What we don’t do: T Rock is not a public adjuster. Texas law prohibits contractors from acting in that role, and we don’t try to. We can’t guarantee your insurance company will cover your claim, adjust your settlement, or negotiate your coverage on your behalf. Coverage decisions are between you and your insurance carrier.

Your job is to file the claim and pick out finishes. Ours is the documentation, the scope, and the work.

Signs You Have Water Damage

Water damage announces itself in obvious ways, ceiling stains, buckled floors, standing water. But the damage you cannot see is often bigger than what you can. Call us if you notice:

  • Water stains on ceilings or walls that appear or grow over time
  • A musty smell that doesn’t clear with cleaning
  • Warped, buckling, or discolored flooring
  • Peeling paint or bubbling wallpaper
  • An unexplained spike in your water bill
  • Damp spots on floors that shouldn’t be damp

The earlier we assess it, the smaller the eventual scope. If you are not sure whether what you are seeing counts as water damage, call. We will tell you
